Yes, I am in 3 different book clubs and I'm trying to keep up with all the reading. The problem is that I'm a very slow reader. I know, I know, I'm a librarian and I'm supposed to read really fast but I just can't. At the AHS library, I never have any time to read, because the days of quiet libraries went out with Vatican II I think. And I try to read every night before bed, but the next thing I know I wake up at midnight with drool on my pillow.
On the other hand, my daughters are definitely speed readers and they obviously did not get the speed reading gene from me.
Right now I'm reading three different books:
The Passage by (the Hottie)
Justin Cronin ( my daughter told me that you know you are old when you think Justin Cronin is attractive) I told you about this book on my last post. I'm also
re

ading
Sarah's Key by
Tatiana de Rosnay (love her name, isn't that a gorgeous name)for my book club on Wednesday night. And I did finish reading
Water For Elephants by
Sarah Gruen for my AHS Staff Book Club tomorrow.

In a perfect world, I would read only one book at a time and I am definitely not the type to read the last page of a book first. I like to be surprised. I will tell you all about Water For Elephants on my next post.
Bye for now, I need to go read....
