If you cannot get enough of teen vampires, here is another. Blue Bloods is the new series written by Melissa de La Cruz. The first in the series takes place in NYC with the most well known socialites and wealthiest of NYC society. Schuyler Van Alen knows little about her past, other than she is related to one of the original Pilgrims from the Mayflower. Schulyer, with her frumpy clothes, is a Blue Blood who stands out from the regular Prada fashionistas at Duchesne. This school year is different, and Schuyler is in for a surprise as she learns about herself and The Committee. Armed with little knowledge and her best friend, Oliver, Schuyler begins a new vampire adventure.
Cruz brings readers another fun and fast read. The plot is easy to follow without to much predictability. She includes historical fiction letters which adds a unique element enticing readers.
